I currently work on two projects, Early Modern Letters Online (EMLO), and Fusing Audio and Semantic Technologies (FAST). EMLO uses semantic linked data to link up 16th, 17th and 18th century letters. FAST is a research project investigating how to take music forward into a semantic future. Previously I worked in the Bodleian Digital Library where we linked datasets, preserved digital documents for a millennia and published searchable websites on a wide variety of subjects.

Although currently working with Python, Javascript and PHP, I've also built things in C, C++, C# and Java.

I have a background in Software Engineering and have degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Astrophysics.

I also enjoy creating visualizations. Here's one I created for the EMLO site: See the Pen D3 Charts by Matthew Wilcoxson (@akademy) on CodePen .
