I am a historian and librarian with research interests in medieval studies, the history of cultural heritage collections, and the history of manuscripts.

I am particularly interested in the use and reuse of collections data from cultural heritage institutions, and in the nature of humanities data.

I am working on the Digging into Data project "Mapping Manuscript Migrations", which is hosted in the OeRC from 2017 to 2019, and also involves the University of Pennyslvania Library, the Institut de Recherche et d'Histoire des Textes (Paris) and Aalto University' Semantic Computing Group (Helsinki).

My other current projects include "Collecting the West", based at the University of Western Australia, and HuNI (Humanities Networked Infrastructure): Australia's Virtual Laboratory for the Humanities (based at Deakin University).
