I am a researcher at the Oxford e-Research Centre currently working in computational linguistics with Prof. Janet Pierrehumbert. We are investigating word formation (prefixation and suffixation) on the Wordovators project. We use deep learning embeddings to represent and model the words and their relationships.
Previously I worked in the application of machine learning and data mining in the area of energy (WICKED project with Prof. David Wallom). One of my main research topics in this area is the clustering of electricity load profiles with both Bayesian and frequenstist algorithms. I have also worked in analysing and predicting which businesses would obtain economic benefit when they change from static tariffs to dynamic tariff.
