Bio 

Eamonn is the lead software engineer in the ISA project (http://isatab.sf.net). Eamonns background is in Computer Science and Bioinformatics. He has previously worked at EMBL-EBI where he led the development of the ISA infrastructure project and coordinated institute wide sessions on Human-Computer Interaction, visualization and aesthetics. Before that, he spent time at CERN in Geneva working on visualizations of the reliability of computing nodes on the Large Hadron Collider’s (LHC) grid computing network.

Eamonn is also carrying out a D.Phil in Computer Science focusing on visualization of biological metadata and data, supervised by Prof. Min Chen (OeRC), Dr. S. Assunta-Sansone (OeRC) and Prof. Jim Davies (CS).
