Digital Humanities Summer School

Digital Humanities Summer School

The Digital Humanities Summer School has been in full flow this week with a record number of delegates.

The Oxford e-Research Centre is strongly represented, organising and running two of the fantastic parallel workshops, one of which, "Data Curation and Access for the Digital Humanities" is jointly run with our partners from the Center for Informatics Research in Science and Scholarship at the University of Illinois.

The e-Research Centre also has speakers in almost every workshop strand ranging from an “Introduction to Digital Humanities” to "A Humanities Web of Data" which introduces the concepts and technologies behind the Semantic Web and shows how delegates can publish their research so that it is available as Linked Data.

The turnout and enthusiasm for this year’s Summer School has been fantastic, and the 2015 line up is already in planning: http://bit.ly/1m0KHP0 #dh14 http://dhoxss.humanities.ox.ac.uk/2015/.
