Dr Marina Jirotka joins Visiting Committee for the The Institute of Systems Science at the National University of Singapore

Dr Marina Jirotka, an Associate Director at the Oxford e-Research Centre, has been invited by The Institute of Systems Science at the National University of Singapore to be a member of a Visiting Committee of international experts to carry out an assessment of the Master of Technology (MTech) degree programme with specialisations in Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering in February 2012.

The first VC assessment is scheduled for the first half of 2012. NUS Vice-Provost Professor Lai Choy Heng in consultation with the ISS Director Mr Lim Swee Cheang has invited Dr Jirotka, who is Reader in Requirements Engineering and Associate Director of the Oxford e-Research Centre, to be a member of this committee.

Other members of the VC are Professor David Robertson, Head of the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, and Professor Paul Strooper, Professor of Software Engineering and Head of the School of Engineering and IT at the University of Queensland, Australia.
