Transforming Musicology is one of three large grants funded by the AHRC Digital Transformations theme, bringing together researchers from Goldsmiths University of London, Queen Mary University of London, the University of Oxford, and beyond.

Since 2013 the project has been exploring how emerging technologies for working with music as sound and score can transform musicology, both as an academic discipline and as a practice outside of universities.

As the Transforming Musicology project draws to a close, we will be holding a final workshop on the 8th December in conjunction with the Wolfson Digital Research Cluster. We hope that this will be a lively event that encourages discussion and debate on the application of digital research to musicology.
