Working to understand energy demand in UK retail

Non-domestic buildings account for approximately 10% of UK greenhouse gas emissions of which retail is responsible for the largest share. Work taking place at the e-Research Centre, in association with the Institute Of Energy Futures at Brunel University is looking further into understanding the intricacies of energy usage by retailers.

At the Enviroinfo & ICT4S conference http://enviroinfo2015.org/  in Copenhagen the e-Research Centre's Ramon Granell presented this project in a poster entitled "Feature extraction to characterise and cluster the energy demand of UK retail premises". The authors of the poster are Ramon Granell, and David Wallom from the Oxford e-Research Centre and Colin Axon from Brunel University.
