OSKAR Released

A collaboration between Oxford e-Research Centre and Oxford Astrophysics led to the development of the open-source OSKAR software package, which was designed to simulate beam-forming for the aperture array component of next generation radio telescopes such as the SKA. The OSKAR package allows these simulations to be carried out on systems such as the OSC (Oxford Supercomputing Centre) clusters.
