Centre work presented at e-Science 2015

Work undertaken at the e-Research Centre's was well represented at the 11th IEEE international e-Science conference in Munich this year.

The annual conference, which in 2009 was hosted here in Oxford, aims to promote and encourage all aspects of eScience and its associated technologies, applications, and tools.

Professor David Wallom gave two presentations about projects involving the Centre.  The first talk was entitled "Federating Infrastructure as a Service cloud computing systems to create a uniform e-infrastructure for research".   The title of his second presentation was "Desktop as a Service supporting Environmental ‘omics".
