Workshop on Computational e-Science

Chairs:
Vassil Alexandrov, University of Reading
Peter Sloot, University of Amsterdam

The workshop stems from the successful International Conference on Computational Science 2010 for the past 9 years. The workshop focuses on the UK and aims to bring together researchers and scientists from mathematics and computer science together with researchers from various  application areas who are pioneering advanced application of computational methods to sciences and humanities as well as researchers and users from industry. The theme of the workshop is “Advancing the e-Science through Advanced Computing”.

The workshop topics covered are:

Mathematical modelling of complex systems,

Scalable algorithms,

Software tools and environments,

Advanced numerical methods,

Key application areas where the above novel models, algorithms, numerical methods and tools can be efficiently applied (environmental modelling, computational biology, computational finance, built environments, etc.)

If you would like to submit a paper for this workshop, please use the online paper submission tool for this workshop.

Programme Committee:

Marian Bubak, Kraków, Poland.

Ivan Dimov, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria.

Ron Perrott, QUB, UK.
