Venue and Travel
e-Science 2009 incorporating the All Hands Meeting from 7-9 December and IEEE meeting from 9-11 December, will take place at the Kassam Stadium Conference Centre on the outskirts of Oxford.

Travelling by car
The Stadium is located just off the Oxford ring road to the south of the City and can easily found on the road, by following the brown football signs which feature on all the main routes into Oxford. Click HERE for detailed directions and a map.
Travelling by rail
Oxford train station is on the western side of the city and you will need to take a taxi up to the venue. Taxi services are available outside the Station entrance.

Travelling by coach
Express coach services run between Oxford and London (1-1½ hours), London Heathrow, Birmingham and other destinations nationwide.

Travelling by air
Oxford is conveniently reached by coach from Heathrow Airport (1¼ hours) or Gatwick Airport (2½ hours). There is a frequent bus service from Heathrow. See the bus company links above for details. Alternatively, there are a range of local taxi/car firms who offer an airport transfer service.
