Registering for the use of NGS resources

In order to use National Grid Service resources you must hold a certificate from an approved CA such as the UK e-Science CA. See Applying to the CA for a certificate in this document for details on how to apply for an e-Science certificate.

Once you have a valid certificate you will then need to apply for an NGS account.

To apply for an NGS account, visit the following web site: http://www.ngs.ac.uk/access.html.

The NGS is to be used for scientific and academic research purposes. You will be asked to provide a short summary of the work you are doing.
