Applying to the CA for a certificate

To obtain a digital certificate you need to make a browser-based request (for example from Firefox, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Opera etc.).

Please see the simple instructions on the OUCS grid registration web pages for a good summary. Contact email and telephone numbers are listed on those pages for assistance.

After making your browser-based request, you must visit an Oxford Registration Authority (RA). The Oxford RAs are based at Oxford University Computing Services. You will need photo ID but an Oxford University card will suffice.
